1} Psalms 91:1, 2 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Hymn 506- A Mighty Fortress2} Psalms 91:3, 4 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.

Hymn 461- Be Still My Soul3} Psalms 91:5-7 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day; [Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the destruction [that] wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.
Isaiah 43:1, 2 But now, thus says the Lord, who create you O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned nor shall the flame scorch you.

Jeremiah 29:12-14 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will see Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
